Brighton.

Well, my two friends and i have been going on holiday together (with one set of parents) since we left primary school. However, this year we managed to organise having a house to ourselves and so managed to get away to Brighton on our own. Obviously it's not Spain or anywhere but is good for a first holiday spot kind of place because there are loads of handy shops and things to do to keep you entertained. The shopping is great too!

The past week has been great, new experiences and all that shiz. The house is...not as tidy as when we arrived but i quickly discovered i was a clean freak and so the kitchen is spotless. :L

Love this town now, and would definitely come again, maybe make it a yearly thing. Given we don't trash the place and leave a good impression :)

Support Operation Cup Of Tea.

With all of the riots going on across England, Sam Pepper has created an anti-riot campaign called Operation Cup Of Tea. The aim is that at 8.30 each night - whilst the riots are going on that those who are against the riots and destruction and support the clean up operation should have a cup of tea and post a picture of themselves doing so on the event page on Facebook.

Also there is now a website (www.operationcupoftea.com) where you can make a donation of money or buy some related merchandise, the money will then be used to help those who have lost homes, businesses innocently in the riots.

Personally i think this is a great campaign and am supporting it myself. Everybody loves a good 'cuppa' (other hot drinks are accepted) so why not join in and show your support?

Jehovas Witnesses.

Rocking up to the front door in your pj's with bed head has got to leave a lasting impression on the Jehovas Witnesses on the other side?
It's amazing how it doesn't bother them though and they still try to fill your head with their one sided views.
So, wanting to shut them up and get back to watching MTV i told them that i did go to church and have my own views. That was a mistake, they seemed more interested in what i thought. :L
But in the end i had a nice chat with the fit one, not sure the old man next to him approved, ha!
So now i'm stuck with this -.-

The London Riots.

Wow, i have been watching the riots unfold over Sky News for the past couple of hours now and i was shocked at how much it affected me. Living in Derby, i am quite a way from where it all started and is focused but i hold so much respect for the brave Emergency Service crews who are risking their safety to try and enforce some control. A family friend has had to flee from their home in Croydon. My thoughts and prayers go out to the innocent victims in all this crime and those trying to stop it.
Stay safe.
